By becoming a member of the St Helens Recycling Rewards scheme you are becoming a member of Green Rewards, who run our Member Scheme. This is operated by Green Leaning Limited trading as Green Rewards. By becoming a Member of Green Rewards you accept the terms and conditions as set out below.
The information provided will be processed in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998. It will be treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of scheme administration and future communications from St.Helens Council.
When you register with Green Rewards you can choose between various options as to the use of information collected through the Green Rewards Programme. Your options can be checked and changed at any time by clicking on 'Personal Details’ in the 'My Account' section. These options do not affect any other data, such as data our Partners and Suppliers may collect from other sources, for instance from an account you hold with them. If you have concerns about the use of such data, please contact the relevant partner or Supplier directly.
We will collect information on you when you apply to register as a Member, when you give details to earn or redeem Points, or in any other communication with us. If you transfer Points from an existing loyalty programme into your Green Rewards Account, associated information about you will also transfer to Green Rewards. Any of this information may be used by, and shared between us and our Partners and Suppliers where necessary to operate the Green Rewards programme (for example, so that you can redeem your Points or to help us prevent abuse of the programme). Information regarding the specific goods or services you buy from a Partner that were not purchased through the Green Rewards website will not be passed to us or any other Partner or Supplier except where required to operate the Green Rewards programme. A Supplier with whom you redeem Points may use information about the specific goods or services which you purchase from it to market to you or to update a database on which you already appear and will be entitled to do this even if you cease to be a Green Rewards member.

Do not wish to be contacted by Green Rewards, its Partners, Suppliers, and its and their associated companies for marketing purposes,
Do not want to receive Green Rewards membership communications, e.g. newsletters

Some of our web pages may contain electronic images known as web beacons (sometimes known as clear gifs) that allow us to count users who have visited these pages.
